Bill Cosby's latest stand-up show in Melbourne, FL went off without a major incident Friday evening, despite two air personalities from WTKS 104.1 FM offering $1,000 to any audience member who heckled the comedian about the sexual assault allegations he is facing.
The two, Shawn Wasson and Sabrina Ambra of The New Junkies Show on Real Radio 104-1 were urging attendees of Bill Cosby's Friday night comedy show to stand up mid-performance, yell something about the sexual assault allegations against him, and videotape their heckling.
Ambra said they would give $1,000 to each protester. The sold-out venue, the King Center for the Performing Arts, seats 2,016.
"The plan is to confront Cosby and force him to address the rape allegations that he has dismissed time and time again," said Ambra before the Friday's show. Shawn Wasson said, "We're calling this 'Operation: Cosby Spartacus.' We're doing this in hopes that multiple people in the audience will do what the mainstream media has failed to accomplish."
