Phoenix Radio: Mike Tierney Named New PD At KDKB

Hubbard Radio/Phoenix has named Mike Tierney at Program Directors for Alternative KDKB 93.3 FM ALT AZ 93-3).

The appointment is effective December 1.

Tierney most recently was a partner and consultant at Mars Organic, a promotion company in Boston. Previously, he was GM at Rocket Music Entertainment, VP of Broadcast Operations at the late WFNX/Boston, and PD of WXRK/New York during its "K-Rock" days. Tierney also programmed KUFO/Portland, OR and KUBE and KPLZ/Seattle in the '90s. He also served as VP of Music Programming at VH1.
